Hello, my fellow chumps and chumpettes! After a prolonged absence I'm back. I can see you have churned out a large output of awesome creations to catch up on. Looking forward to seeing what y'all have made! So what's been happening in my life? I've been job hunting for about two and a half months now, which has been, needless to say, a dismal experience. To rub salt in the wound, my ancient fossil of a computer finally died once and for it. So currently, I have no means to make digital art. It may seem like I haven't been active in the creative sphere. And perhaps that's a little true (RL, yadda yadda). But I have managed to keep doing a few things here and there in my spare time. Some traditional art (which I don't bother to post on dA). A digital, three-page comic project (progressing so slowly it's almost running backwards). I've also made attempts to write fic again. By which I mean I wrote down a few plot ideas on a Word document which I am hoping will spontaneously materialise into full-fledged epics. No, I suppose not. Perhaps if I bribed it with umpty candy. I haven't posted art in a while. I have been busy with work and other things and I have been suffering from a lack of energy. I am also at the stage where I am frustrated and embarassed by my lack of skill. So I am in (occasional) practice mode rather than display mode. But I am determined to get something up eventually. But here's a lame journal entry rambling on about things others couldn't care less about. Well, it's something. I enjoyed this week's Judge Dredd (despite some problematic aspects of the story). I just wish it was a two-parter (but that's just me). I also liked the art by Mike Dowling, very legible; nice colours. Inspiring
